At Nexbuild, we first ask, how can our buildings best help the occupants and society, and then we try to achieve as much of that as is feasible. We carefully consider the impacts of the building on lifecycle affordability, environmental sustainability, health, social connection, inclusion, visitability, quality of life, resilience and urban systems.
We build highly efficient buildings that use the thermal mass of a concrete structure to store heat or coolness collected. This can be done for a cost competitive with conventional construction but at a much lower operating cost. Our goal for every project is net-zero energy consumption, which means few or no energy bills and far lower carbon emissions for the life of the building. By relying primarily on an efficient envelope, thermal mass, and passive heating and cooling, we also reduce maintenance costs and dependence on supply chains.
Our focus is new construction and spec homes.
